Four Dead Including Driver and Conductor

A tragic bus accident occurred in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, on Friday, resulting in the deaths of four people, including the driver and conductor of the Himachal Pradesh Road and Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus.

Details of the Accident

The accident took place in the Kenchi area of Jubbal when the bus, enroute to Kuddu-Diltari in Rohru, fell off the mountain road into a gorge. The mishap happened at 6:45 am when the bus overturned on the road.

Casualties and Injuries

There were a total of seven people on the bus, including five passengers, the driver, and the conductor. Two people died on the spot, while the driver and conductor succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital. The deceased were identified as Karam Dass (driver), Rakesh Kumar (conductor), Birma Devi, and Dhan Shah, a resident of Nepal.

Three injured passengers, identified as Jiyender Rangta, Deepika, and Hast Bahadur, have been admitted to a local hospital in Rohru.
