Sadly, Dipit Dey and Konamika Narzery were killed at the scene. Another passenger, 23-year-old Neha Basumatary, was injured and taken to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).

Dr. Abhijit Sarma, Superintendent of GMCH, reported that Neha Basumatary sustained soft tissue injuries to her scalp and left arm, along with swelling in her left forearm. She was treated and discharged but advised to return for follow-up care if needed.
