Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Visits California to Meet Silicon Valley Giants
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with Minister for Information Technology and Industries Sridhar Babu Duddilla, has arrived in California. The delegation plans to interact with some of the biggest companies in Silicon Valley over the next few days.
Consul General of India in San Francisco, K Srikar Reddy, welcomed the delegation at San Jose Airport. The Consulate General of India in San Francisco posted on X, highlighting the warm reception given to the leaders.
The Telangana Chief Minister's Office also posted on X, expressing excitement about the opportunities for partnerships for Hyderabad and Telangana in Silicon Valley.
Before arriving in California, the delegation visited New York, New Jersey, Washington, DC, Dallas, and Texas. They had successful interactions with several top CEOs and business leaders.
Charles Schwab, a global financial services leader, has chosen Hyderabad for its first Technology Development Center in India. This decision came after discussions between the Telangana delegation and senior Schwab executives in Dallas. The Telangana government has committed to supporting Schwab through the necessary formalities to establish their presence in Hyderabad.
Additionally, CM Revanth Reddy met with World Bank President Ajay Banga to discuss various projects, including the Musi Riverfront, Skill University, Future City, and Citizen Health Care. The CM also attended a roundtable with top CEOs and business leaders in New York.
