Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Meets Union Ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Bandi Sanjay to Discuss Flood Relief

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], September 6: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy held a meeting with Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay to address the flood situation in the state.

During the meeting, CM Reddy announced that Rs 10,000 would be given to families affected by the floods as immediate relief. He shared that the discussions included a PowerPoint presentation and a photo exhibition to illustrate the severe conditions in the flood-affected villages.

Officials highlighted the extensive crop damage and the condition of the damaged railway track in Mahabubabad district. CM Reddy also requested the central government to provide adequate funds for immediate assistance and permanent renovation works.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, and other senior officials attended the meeting. The Union Ministers and CM Reddy also visited a photo exhibition at the Secretariat showcasing the flood-affected areas.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is on a two-day visit to the flood-affected areas of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He conducted an aerial survey of the affected areas in Khammam, Telangana, and interacted with farmers alongside Bandi Sanjay.
