Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Criticizes Union Budget and PM Modi

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has strongly criticized the Union Budget, describing the ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ slogan as bogus. Speaking at his residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, CM Reddy said, ‘This budget looks like KURSI BACHAO BUDGET. Apart from Bihar and Andhra Pradesh, no state has been given anything. It looks like PM is trying to save his chair.’

Reddy recalled his meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, where he sought aid for various developmental projects. He stated, ‘Today’s Union Budget shows the attitude of Centre towards Telangana. Even though we visited Delhi many times and met the Prime Minister, Home Minister, and other top leaders, justice was not done.’

He emphasized the need for funds for projects like the Bayyaram Steel Plant, Kazipet railway factory, Hyderabad metro, and Musi river development. ‘If India should become the 5th largest economy, then Hyderabad, which is one of 5 metropolises in India, should develop,’ he added.

Reddy also criticized Union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy, demanding an explanation and apology for the alleged injustice done to Telangana. He called for a united protest by Telangana MPs, urging them to rise above politics and fight for the state’s rights.

The state government plans to discuss this alleged injustice in the Legislative Assembly, asking Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to release the necessary funds for Telangana’s development projects.
