Team India Heads to Sri Lanka for T20I and ODI Series
The Indian Cricket Team has left for Sri Lanka after a press conference in Mumbai. They will play a three-match T20I series on July 27, July 28, and July 30, followed by a three-match ODI series starting on August 1.
Match Venues
The T20I matches will be held at the Pallekele International Stadium, while the ODI matches will take place at the R Premadasa Stadium.
New Coaching Staff
India’s newly appointed head coach, Gautam Gambhir, expressed his excitement and acknowledged the challenge of filling the shoes of previous coaches Rahul Dravid and Ravi Shastri. Gambhir aims to create a happy and secure dressing room for the team.
Gambhir will be supported by assistant coaches Abhishek Nayar and Ryan Ten Doeschate. Nayar has a rich history in Indian cricket, having played three ODIs for India and winning several Ranji Trophy titles with Mumbai. Ten Doeschate is currently the assistant coach for the Los Angeles Knight Riders in Major League Cricket and has also served as the batting coach for Kent.
