Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi’s Announcement

In Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi revealed the schedule for the upcoming board exams for Classes 10, 11, and 12. The exams for Class 12 are set to start on March 3, 2025, and conclude on March 25. Practical exams for Class 12 will occur from February 2 to 14.

Class 11 and Class 10 Exam Dates

Class 11 exams will take place from April 5 to April 27, with practicals from February 15 to 21. Class 10 exams are scheduled from March 28 to April 15, and practicals from February 22 to 28.

Previous Year Exam Results

In the 2023-24 academic year, 8,94,264 students appeared for the Class 10 exams, achieving a pass rate of 91.55%. Among them, 4,22,591 of the 4,47,061 female candidates passed, with a pass rate of 94.55%. For the 4,47,203 male students, 88.58% cleared the exam. Class 11 had a pass percentage of 91.16%, while Class 12 had approximately 93%.
