Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, reported that 564 people were arrested during the protests, including 11 police officers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 120 Afghan nationals. Due to the protests, mobile phone services were suspended in Rawalpindi and Islamabad for three days, and security measures were heightened with police stationed at key locations.
