New Delhi, India – August 15: Former chief of the Delhi Commission for Women, Swati Maliwal, has written a letter to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, demanding severe punishment for those involved in the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata.
Maliwal expressed her deep concern over the inhuman atrocities inflicted upon the young woman, which have sparked widespread protests across the country.
