Supreme Court Orders NEET-UG 2024 Results to be Published by NTA
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the NEET-UG 2024 results on its official website. This follows a directive from the Supreme Court of India, which ordered the results to be published by July 20. The results are available city-wise and centre-wise, ensuring transparency while masking student identities.
The Supreme Court’s order came after students petitioned for transparency in the results. A bench of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra directed the NTA to publish the results separately for each centre and city.
The NEET-UG exam, held on May 5, saw around 24 lakh candidates appearing across 4,750 centres. The court will continue to hear pleas regarding alleged paper leaks and malpractices in the NEET-UG 2024 exams on July 22.
NEET-UG is the pathway for admissions into MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other related courses in government and private institutions across India.
