India’s top para-badminton player, Sukant Kadam, is ready to compete in the Japan Para-Badminton International 2024 as the first seed. He faces a challenging group with Japan’s Koki Ogawa and Bangladesh’s Mohammad Ali Imam. Despite the loss, Sukant’s performance solidified his status among the world’s top para-badminton players.

At the recent Paris Paralympics, Indian para-shuttlers secured five medals, including one gold, two silver, and two bronze. Although Sukant fell short in the bronze medal match against Fredy Setiawan, he remains determined to succeed in future competitions.
