SpiceJet Crew Member and CISF Officer File Cases Against Each Other at Jaipur Airport

At Jaipur Airport, a conflict arose between a SpiceJet female crew member and CISF Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Giriraj Prasad. The incident led to both parties filing cases against each other.

What Happened?

According to ASI Prasad, the crew member arrived at the airport at 4 AM and attempted to enter without a security check. Prasad stopped her and requested a female staff member for the screening. The crew member became angry and slapped him before the female staff arrived.

Statements from Authorities

Assistant Commissioner of Police of Malviya Nagar, Aditya Poonia, confirmed that both parties have filed cases. He mentioned that CCTV footage was reviewed, and the crew member was arrested and produced in court.

SpiceJet’s Response

SpiceJet issued a statement claiming that the ASI used abusive language and made inappropriate comments towards the female crew member. They are taking legal action for sexual harassment and have approached the local police.

Current Status

The Malviya Nagar Police are investigating the matter to determine the facts and take appropriate action.
