India opted to bat first, with a strong 67-run partnership between Yashasvi Jaiswal (36 runs) and Shubman Gill (66 runs). Gill also had a 72-run partnership with Ruturaj Gaikwad (49 runs). India posted a total of 182/4 in 20 overs.
Zimbabwe’s Bowling
Blessing Muzarbani and Sikandar Raza were the standout bowlers for Zimbabwe, each taking two wickets.
Zimbabwe’s Run-Chase
Chasing 183 runs, Zimbabwe struggled initially at 39/5. However, a 77-run partnership between Dion Myers (65* runs) and Clive Madande (37 runs) revived their innings. Despite their efforts, Zimbabwe finished at 159/6 in 20 overs.
India’s Bowling Performance
Washington Sundar (3/15) and Avesh Khan (2/39) were the top bowlers for India, with Khaleel Ahmed also taking a wicket.
