Security Forces Conduct Mock Drill at Chenab Rail Bridge
Location: Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir
Security forces recently carried out a mock drill at the Chenab Rail Bridge, the world's highest railway bridge, situated between Bakkal and Kauri in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. This exercise was organized by the District Police Reasi in collaboration with various security and emergency teams, including SOG, CRPF 126bn, GRP, RPF, SDRF, VDG, Civil Administration, Fire, Emergency, and Medical teams.
About the Chenab Bridge
The Chenab Bridge is a remarkable engineering feat, constructed 359 meters above the Chenab River as part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) Project. It stands approximately 35 meters taller than the Eiffel Tower.

The Ministry of Railways was recognized in the Limca Book of Records for organizing an event attended by over 40 million people across 2,140 venues. This event, held on February 26, 2024, marked the inauguration of various railway infrastructure projects and was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
