New Delhi, India - Olympic medalist Sarabjot Singh was awarded the prestigious Arjuna Award for his outstanding performance in sports and games. The award ceremony took place at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, where President Droupadi Murmu presented the award.
A Dedication to Supporters
Sarabjot Singh expressed his gratitude by dedicating the award to his coach, family, and friends. He shared his journey, stating, "I am unable to express my feelings because I have worked hard for this for eight years...I am feeling great...I dedicate this award to my coach, family and friends."
Olympic Achievements
Sarabjot Singh, along with Manu Bhaker, won a bronze medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event at the Paris Olympics, marking India's first-ever shooting team medal.
