Sanjay Raut Supports INDIA Alliance CMs’ Boycott of NITI Aayog Meeting

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has backed the decision of chief ministers from the INDIA alliance to not attend the NITI Aayog meeting. He claims that the government and NITI Aayog are unfair to non-NDA states.

Statements from Leaders

Sanjay Raut stated, “CMs of the India bloc will not go to NITI Aayog meeting. It is almost decided. Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin had earlier said he would not go, Arvind Kejriwal is in jail, Telangana CM; and there are other CMs who do not want to go because NITI Aayog is not keeping pace with the country’s development. You must have seen this in this year’s budget and NITI Aayog’s work.”

He further accused NITI Aayog of not maintaining fairness in the country’s development, citing the budget as evidence.

Reactions from Other Chief Ministers

Earlier, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party government over the Union Budget, calling it a “vengeful act” against states and people who boycotted the BJP. He released a video stating that the Union Government’s actions were against “progressive thoughts.”

Following Stalin’s announcement, Congress stated that its chief ministers, including Himachal Pradesh’s Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Karnataka’s Siddaramaiah, and Telangana’s Revanth Reddy, would also skip the meeting.
