RJD Leader Criticizes Indian Government Over Temple Attack in Canada

Mrutyunjay Tiwari, a leader from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), has criticized the BJP-led NDA government in India for its handling of foreign policies following an attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. BJP leader Sidharth Nath Singh accused the Canadian government of supporting Khalistanis for political gain and condemned the attack. He assured that the Indian government would respond appropriately. BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala criticized the Congress party for its silence on the issue, accusing them of prioritizing vote bank politics.

The Hindu-Canadian community has expressed deep concern over the rise in attacks on Hindu temples. Over a thousand Canadian Hindus protested outside the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton following the attack. Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack and called for justice, expecting Canadian authorities to uphold the rule of law.
