In Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP unit President Ravinder Raina expressed his gratitude to the people for a record voter turnout in the recent Assembly elections. The Election Commission of India reported a 63.88% overall voter turnout. The third phase alone saw a 69.69% turnout, while the first and second phases recorded 61.38% and 57.31%, respectively.

Ravinder Raina, speaking at the BJP headquarters in Jammu, thanked the voters for their participation and acknowledged the efforts of the security forces, including the Jammu and Kashmir police and various paramilitary forces, in ensuring peaceful elections.
