Former cricketer Shikhar Dhawan also paid tribute, remembering Tata’s kindness and contributions, and expressing his sadness over the loss of such a great leader.

Ratan Tata was a pivotal figure in India’s industrial landscape, leading the Tata Group to new heights. Born on December 28, 1937, in Mumbai, he was the Chairman of Tata Sons from 1991 to 2012 and later became Chairman Emeritus. He was also the Chairman of the Ratan Tata Trust and Dorabji Tata Trust, two major philanthropic organizations in India. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in 2008.
