Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], September 4: Ram Madhav, the BJP election in-charge for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, stated on Wednesday that the upcoming elections will be historic. He believes a new government will be formed under the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Madhav expressed confidence that the elections would free the people of Jammu and Kashmir from the hardships they have faced for the past 34 years. He assured that the BJP would bring peace, harmony, and development to the region.

Madhav criticized the National Conference (NC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for their past governance, claiming they want to return to old troubles. He emphasized that the BJP would defeat these parties and bring a new leadership to Jammu and Kashmir.

On Monday, the BJP released its fourth list of candidates for the elections, including Ravinder Raina from Nowshera, Arif Raja from Eidgah, Ali Mohammad Mir from Khansahib, Zahid Hussain from Chrar-i-Sharif, and Vibodh Gupta from Rajouri (ST).
