Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 225 runs in 16 matches with an average of 32.14 and a strike rate of 157.34, achieving both a fifty and a century. Riyan Parag was the third-highest run-scorer of the season with 573 runs at an average of 52.09 and a strike rate of 149.22, hitting four half-centuries. Sandeep Sharma took 13 wickets in 11 matches with an economy of 8.18 and a strike rate of 17.54.
Franchises must submit their list of retained players by October 31. Each team can retain up to six players, with a maximum of five capped and two uncapped players. The auction purse for IPL 2025 is set at Rs 120 Crore, with a total salary cap of Rs 146 Crore, including match fees. A new match fee of Rs 7.5 Lakhs per match has been introduced for each playing member. Minimum deductions from the purse for retained players range from Rs 18 crores for the first player to Rs 4 crores for an uncapped player.
