Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma Urges Support for Mahayuti in Maharashtra Elections

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma recently addressed Rajasthan residents in Maharashtra, encouraging them to support the Mahayuti alliance in the upcoming assembly elections. Speaking at a rally for Mahayuti candidate Mahesh Kisanrao Landge in Pune’s Bhosari constituency, Sharma emphasized India’s progress since 2014, citing welfare programs, development initiatives, and reduced terrorism.

Sharma highlighted achievements in Rajasthan, noting improvements in youth affairs, law and order, and electricity since his government took office 11 months ago. He criticized the previous Congress government for corruption and false narratives, asserting that only Mahayuti can drive development.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis accused the opposition of “vote jihad” and called for a “dharmyuddh” of votes. As elections approach, the opposition MVA coalition, including Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT), and the Nationalist Congress Party, aims to challenge the Mahayuti alliance.

The Maharashtra Assembly elections are scheduled for November 20, with results to be announced on November 23. In the 2019 elections, the BJP won 105 seats, Shiv Sena 56, and Congress 44.
