Pune and Mumbai Hit-and-Run Cases: Accidents Lead to Tragic Losses

Pune Incident

In Pune, a hit-and-run incident occurred in the early morning hours, resulting in the death of police marshal Samadhan Kohli and injuring Sanjog Shyam Shinde. The accused, 24-year-old Siddharth Raju Kengar, has been detained, and his car has been taken into custody. The incident happened in the Bopodi area at 1:30 a.m. when a four-wheeler hit two marshals on a motorcycle. The injured marshal is under medical supervision and is stable.

Mumbai Incident

In Mumbai, a BMW car hit a bike in Worli, leading to the death of Kaveri Nakhwa and injuring her husband. The car belongs to a political leader from Palghar, and his son was in the car with the driver. The police have arrested Rajendra Singh Rajawat and the father of the main accused, Rajesh Shah. The main accused is still absconding, and six teams have been formed to arrest him. The incident occurred at 5:30 a.m. near Atria Mall in Worli.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde assured that strict action would be taken against the culprits. He stated, “The Mumbai hit-and-run case that has happened is very unfortunate. I had a conversation with the police. Whoever is guilty, action will be taken against them. We treat everyone equally. Whatever happens will be legal.”
