Her brother, Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, expressed his support during a rally, stating that Wayanad now has two Members of Parliament, one official and one unofficial, both dedicated to the constituency’s welfare.

Rahul Gandhi emphasized Priyanka’s commitment to Wayanad, describing her as ready to sacrifice everything for the people she considers family. He urged the residents to support and protect her, recalling how Priyanka cared for their mother after their father’s death.
