Prithvi Shaw Joins Mumbai's Squad for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy
Prithvi Shaw, who recently turned 25, has been included in Mumbai's probables for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Despite being dropped from the Ranji squad, Shaw is part of a 28-member team for the T20 tournament. The squad also features Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer, and Shardul Thakur, all of whom have been out of the national team recently. Shaw, once a rising star, was bought by Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2018 after leading India to the Under-19 World Cup title. He impressed with a 44-ball 62 in his second IPL game and had a stellar 2021 season with 479 runs. Despite a tough IPL 2023, Delhi Capitals retained him, showing faith in his potential.
