Prime Minister Narendra Modi Visits Russia and Austria

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started a two-nation visit, beginning with Moscow, Russia. He was invited by President Vladimir Putin to attend the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit. This visit aims to strengthen the partnership between the two countries.

Visit to Russia

In Russia, PM Modi will have a private meeting with President Putin, attend a luncheon hosted by Putin, and visit an exhibition center. They will discuss energy resources, trade, and other important issues. The Indian Ambassador to Russia, Vinay Kumar, emphasized the significance of this visit for both countries.

Visit to Austria

Following his engagements in Russia, PM Modi will travel to Austria on July 9-10. This is a historic visit as it marks the first time an Indian Prime Minister has visited Austria in 41 years. PM Modi will meet Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer to discuss strengthening the bond between the two nations and exploring new avenues of cooperation.
