Gujarat’s pro-business policies have improved its Ease of Doing Business ranking significantly. The Gujarat Single Window Clearance Act of 2017 expedited business processes, attracting a Foreign Direct Investment of USD 7.3 billion in 2023-24.

Support from Central Government

Since Narendra Modi became Prime Minister in 2014, Gujarat’s development has accelerated with central government support. Under Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the state continues to achieve milestones in business and other sectors.
