Naidu aims to address the proposed merger of the Visakha Steel Plant with the Steel Authority of India. He will also discuss World Bank funding for Amaravati and funds for the Polavaram project. This visit is crucial for securing central support for infrastructure and international funding.

Skill Census Pilot Project

Earlier, on October 2, Naidu launched India’s first skill census pilot project in Mangalagiri. The project surveys 1,61,421 families to assess skill levels and improve employment opportunities. The government plans to create 2 million jobs in the next five years by linking industries with educational institutions and organizing job fairs.
