President Murmu and PM Modi Honor Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on Teachers’ Day
New Delhi, India – On September 5, President of India Droupadi Murmu paid floral tributes to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the former President of India, on his birth anniversary at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Following this, President Murmu will present the National Teachers’ Award 2024 to 82 selected awardees at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
President Murmu also extended her greetings to teachers across the country on the eve of Teachers’ Day, wishing them success in their mission to build an enlightened community of students. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also wished all teachers on Teachers’ Day, acknowledging their role in building a strong society and nation. On the Jayanti of Bharat Ratna, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, I bow to the former President of India and extend my heartfelt greetings to all our hard-working teachers.”
