Police in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, Odisha, have arrested three experienced thieves. The police recovered four gold chains, three mobile phones, and a bike used in their crimes.

Details of the Arrest

The arrests came after multiple complaints of snatching from single women in the streets of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. The suspects had previously been arrested in over 40 cases and were released on conditional bail in May. In the last three weeks, they committed six new crimes.

Police Investigation

Commissioner of Police Sanjeeb Panda stated that the police are also investigating the receiver of the stolen goods. A team will be sent to Kharagpur, West Bengal, for further recovery of stolen materials.
