New Delhi [India], August 15: Union Minister Jitendra Singh shared that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has outlined a roadmap for a developed India, called ‘Viksit Bharat’, during his Independence Day speech from the Red Fort. India is celebrating its 78th Independence Day.

After hoisting the national flag at his residence, the Union Minister referred to PM Modi’s address, stating, “The PM’s address to the nation on Independence Day is a declaration of the government’s past achievements and the roadmap ahead.”

PM Modi discussed the need for a secular civil code, one nation, one election, and the political situation in Bangladesh. He also highlighted India’s advancements in space, the National Research Foundation, and Olympic achievements.

Earlier, PM Modi hoisted the national flag at Red Fort for the 11th consecutive time. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of moving towards a secular civil code to eliminate discrimination based on religion.

The theme of this year’s Independence Day is ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047’, aiming to transform India into a developed nation by 2047.
