PM Modi's Four-Day Visit to France and the US
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embarked on a significant four-day trip to France and the United States. His journey began on February 10, with an invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron. During his stay in France, PM Modi will co-chair the AI Action Summit with President Macron. The two leaders will also visit Marseille to inaugurate the first Indian Consulate in France and explore the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor project.
In Paris, PM Modi will attend a dinner hosted by President Macron at the Elysee Palace, which will include many CEOs from the tech industry. On February 12, they will pay tribute to Indian soldiers at a war cemetery and visit the site of the international thermal nuclear experimental reactor.
Following his visit to France, PM Modi will travel to the United States to meet President Donald Trump. This marks their first meeting since President Trump began his second term. The leaders have previously met in June 2017 and during President Trump's visit to India in February 2020. They have also communicated via phone twice since November 2024.
