PM Modi Meets US NSA Jake Sullivan to Strengthen India-US Partnership

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently met with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan in New Delhi. During their meeting, Modi emphasized the significant advancements in the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership, particularly in technology, defense, and space. He expressed his eagerness to continue building on this momentum for the benefit of both nations.

Modi shared his thoughts on social media, stating, "It was a pleasure to meet the US National Security Advisor @JakeSullivan46. The India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership has scaled new heights, including in the areas of technology, defense, space, biotechnology, and Artificial Intelligence. Look forward to building upon this momentum in ties between our two democracies for the benefit of our people and global good."

Earlier, Sullivan met with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Jaishankar expressed his delight in meeting Sullivan and appreciated the openness of their discussions over the past four years. He acknowledged Sullivan's personal contribution to strengthening the India-US partnership.

Speaking at an event at IIT Delhi, Sullivan mentioned that this visit to India is likely his last overseas trip as NSA. He highlighted the shared achievements between the two countries and expressed optimism about future collaborations in semiconductor technologies and space exploration.
