As the Maharashtra Assembly elections approach, Congress leader Pawan Khera has assured that there is no internal conflict within the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance. The MVA, consisting of Congress, Shiv Sena-UBT, and NCP-SP, is preparing to face the ruling Mahayuti alliance, which includes BJP, NCP, and Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction).

Seat Sharing and Challenges

Pawan Khera stated that while challenges may arise during seat sharing, the alliance is committed to overcoming them together. He emphasized that discussions and solutions are part of the process, ensuring unity within the coalition.

Upcoming Elections

The Maharashtra Assembly elections are scheduled for November 20, with results to be announced on November 23. In the previous 2019 elections, the MVA coalition won 154 out of 288 seats. This year, the alliance aims to counter the BJP-led Mahayuti.

Recent Election Performance

In the recent Lok Sabha elections, the MVA secured 30 out of 48 seats in Maharashtra, while the ruling alliance won 17 seats, and one seat went to an Independent candidate.
