Pakistani Pilgrims Join Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj

A group of pilgrims from Pakistan has arrived in Prayagraj, India, to participate in the Maha Kumbh Mela, a significant spiritual event. The pilgrims expressed their gratitude to the Indian government for quickly issuing visas, allowing them to attend the event. They praised the organization of the Mela and enjoyed visiting various camps and meeting spiritual leaders.

Govind Ram Makhija, one of the pilgrims, expressed his happiness and hope that the Indian government would continue to grant visas to Pakistani devotees. He shared his joy, stating, "We are here and we are very happy. It is very well organized and we have been very well served."

Another pilgrim, Ishwar Lal Makhija, appreciated the arrangements made for them, from the station to the camps. Priyanka, visiting India for the first time, felt a strong connection to her culture and expressed her excitement about the experience.

Kavita, another devotee, felt immense joy being part of the Maha Kumbh Mela. The pilgrims were thankful for the 25-day visa granted in just three days. Gobind Ram shared that they felt peaceful listening to bhajans upon their arrival.

The Maha Kumbh Mela, which began on January 13, 2025, is the world's largest spiritual and cultural gathering, attracting millions of devotees. As of February 5, 2025, over 389.7 million devotees have participated. The event will continue until February 26, 2025.
