Leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) met with Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman after the government did not consult him on constitutional changes. According to sources, PTI and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) have not resolved their issues regarding the constitutional revisions.

Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman and the PTI delegation are scheduled to meet again later today. After meeting with government officials, Maulana Fazl will also arrange meetings with the opposition.

Earlier, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif summoned a federal cabinet meeting to consider a draft of a constitutional package likely to be tabled in parliament on Sunday. The key agenda includes extending the tenure of the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) by three years.
