On a special day known as Ashtami, Odisha’s Chief Minister, Mohan Charan Majhi, visited a Durga Puja pandal in Bhubaneswar. To ensure a safe and grand celebration, Odisha’s Additional Director General of Police, Sanjay Kumar, announced special security arrangements. These include deploying 205 platoons of security forces, along with CRPF, BSF, and Rapid Action Force units, especially in sensitive areas like Bhadrak. Key personnel, including SPs, DSPs, and Inspectors, have been strategically placed across the state.
