New Permanent Judges Appointed in Allahabad and Andhra Pradesh High Courts
On Wednesday, the Centre Government, through the Law and Justice Ministry, announced the appointment of several Additional Judges as permanent Judges in the Allahabad High Court and Andhra Pradesh High Court.
Allahabad High Court
The following nine Additional Judges have been made permanent:
- Justice Syed Qamar Hasan Rizvi
- Justice Manish Kumar Nigam
- Justice Anish Kumar Gupta
- Justice Nand Prabha Shukla
- Justice Kshitij Shailendra
- Justice Vinod Diwakar
- Justice Prashant Kumar
- Justice Manjive Shukla
- Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal
Andhra Pradesh High Court
Two Additional Judges have been made permanent:
- Justice Venkata Jyothirmai Pratapa
- Justice Venuthurumalli Gopala Krishna Rao
The appointments were made by the President of India after consultation with the Chief Justice of India.
