NDA Parliamentary Party Meeting Tomorrow in New Delhi
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary Party will meet tomorrow in the national capital, New Delhi. The meeting will take place at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium in the Parliament Library Building at around 9:30 am.
The BJP-led NDA recently won a third term in the Lok Sabha elections, securing 240 seats, which is lower than their 2019 tally of 303 seats. The Congress won 99 seats. Overall, the NDA won 293 seats, while the opposition INDIA bloc secured 234 seats.
A heated debate erupted in the Lok Sabha on Monday over remarks made by Rahul Gandhi. The BJP accused the Raebareli MP of insulting the Hindu community. Prime Minister Modi criticized Gandhi’s comments, stating that calling the entire Hindu community violent is a serious matter. Home Minister Amit Shah demanded that the Congress leader apologize for his remarks. During a debate on the motion of thanks on the President’s Address, Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP-led government of a systematic attack on the idea of India.
