NCP's Nawab Malik and Daughter Sana Confident in Maharashtra Elections

In Mumbai, Maharashtra, Nawab Malik, a candidate from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), expressed confidence in winning the upcoming assembly elections. He and his daughter, Sana Malik, are contesting from Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar and Anushakti Nagar, respectively. Nawab Malik highlighted the excitement among people as a positive sign for their victory. He mentioned a bike rally starting from Sana's constituency, showing their active engagement with the public.

Sana Malik emphasized their positive approach in the final phase of campaigning, stating their commitment to working among the people as they have for the past 5-7 years. Despite opposition from alliance partners BJP and Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde), NCP Chief Ajit Pawar defended Malik's candidacy, noting that allegations against him have not been proven. He compared Malik's situation to that of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, who faced unproven accusations during his tenure.

The Maharashtra elections are scheduled for November 20, with vote counting on November 23. In previous elections, the BJP and Shiv Sena have been significant contenders, with the BJP winning 105 seats in 2019 and 122 in 2014.
