On October 17, Nayab Singh Saini will be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Haryana for the second time. The ceremony will take place at Dussehra Ground in Panchkula, Sector 5, at 10 am. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with senior BJP leaders and Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from NDA-ruled states, will attend the event.

Following the oath-taking ceremony, a meeting of Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from NDA-ruled states is scheduled in Chandigarh at 4 pm. All NDA leaders have been invited to this meeting.

Victory for BJP

Nayab Singh Saini was chosen as the leader of the Haryana BJP Legislature Party in a meeting chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Shah attributed Haryana’s victory to the developmental narrative promoted by Prime Minister Modi. The BJP won 48 out of 90 seats in the assembly, while Congress secured 37 seats.

Amit Shah highlighted that Haryana is the only state buying all 24 crops and making the most purchases at MSP. He also addressed the opposition’s criticism of the Agniveer scheme, assuring that it will rejuvenate the army and provide pensionable jobs for returning Agniveers.
