A 35-year-old man named Dinesh Pujar was killed by Naxalites in Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh. The incident occurred on the night of October 29 in Putkel village, under the Basaguda police station limits. The police reported that Dinesh was attacked with a sharp weapon.
The Naxalites left a pamphlet at the scene accusing Dinesh of being a police informer, which they claimed was the reason for his murder. The police are currently investigating the case further.
Earlier, on October 19, two Indian Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawans died from injuries sustained in an IED blast by Naxalites. Additionally, two police jawans from Narayanpur district were injured in the same incident. In a separate encounter, Dantewada police reported that 38 Naxal cadres were killed in the forests of Abujhmad, near the Dantewada-Narayanpur border.
