Mumbai Crime Branch Arrests Four Drug Suppliers

The Kandivali unit of the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Crime Branch has successfully arrested four individuals involved in drug supply. The arrests took place in the Malad and Malvani areas of Mumbai.

Seizure Details

The police seized 594 grams of heroin, which is valued at approximately Rs 2.37 crore in the international market. The arrested individuals include two residents from Uttar Pradesh and two from Uttarakhand.

Ongoing Investigation

The police are currently investigating to identify the intended recipients of the drugs in Mumbai and are working to trace further links in the supply chain.

ANC’s Recent Achievements

In the past 10 months, the Anti-Narcotics Cell has seized 3,010 kilograms of drugs worth Rs 55 crore in the international market. During this period, they have registered 68 cases and arrested 146 individuals involved in drug trafficking.
