The Ministry of Civil Aviation has introduced a new Medical Inspection Room at the Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan in New Delhi. This facility will be staffed by a doctor and a nurse, providing essential healthcare services. Vipin Kumar, Chairman of the Airports Authority of India (AAI), emphasized the importance of having immediate medical support available for employees and visitors, ensuring quick response to any health issues.

Kumar highlighted the rapid growth in the aviation sector, noting that the number of airports has more than doubled in the past decade. He stressed the shift from rail to air travel and the need for improved facilities to enhance the travel experience for both domestic and international passengers.

Additionally, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Airports Authority of India and DRIIV (Delhi Research Implementation and Innovation) at the same venue. This collaboration aims to foster innovation, improve operational safety, and support sustainable growth in the aviation industry. The partnership is set to create a supportive ecosystem for start-ups and accelerate the development of technological solutions tailored to aviation needs.
