MDNIY’s Y-Break Program Honored for Workplace Wellness
The Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) received a Certificate of Appreciation from Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for the Department of Personnel and Training, for its “Yoga Break at Workplace” (Y-Break) program. This recognition was awarded to MDNIY Director, Dr. Kashinath Samagandi, during the National Learning Week – Karmayogi Saptah at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
The Y-Break course, a five-minute Yoga routine designed for workplace settings, has become the top-performing program on the iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform, with over 868,094 government employees completing it. The program includes simple Yoga asanas, Pranayamas, and relaxation techniques to reduce stress and improve focus.
Dr. Samagandi highlighted the program’s success, stating, “The tremendous success of the Y-Break program reflects its significant impact on government officials nationwide.” The iGOT Karmayogi platform supports continuous learning for government employees, offering training modules that enhance skills and promote wellness.
