In Nagpur, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced the Bhoomi Pujan of a new integrated solar plant by Avaada Group. These projects, located in Pune, Raigad, Kolhapur, and Ratnagiri districts, involve an investment of approximately INR 14,000 crore over the next 5-7 years. The MoU was signed by the Water Resources Department and Avaada Aqua Batteries Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Avaada Group, in the presence of Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Avaada Group’s Chairman, Vineet Mittal.
