Maharashtra Congress Chief Nana Patole Criticizes Mahayuti Government and BJP’s Opposition to Nawab Malik

Maharashtra Politics: Nana Patole’s Criticism and Election Tensions

Mumbai, Maharashtra: On October 30, Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole voiced strong criticism against the current state government, calling it the “ATM” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He accused them of exploiting Maharashtra’s resources for Gujarat and emphasized the need to remove the “Mahabhrasht” Mahayuti government from power.

Patole highlighted ongoing issues within the Mahayuti alliance, noting unresolved seat-sharing disputes. He predicted clarity on these matters by November 4.

Controversy Over Nawab Malik’s Candidature

The Mahayuti alliance faces internal conflict over the nomination of NCP’s Nawab Malik for the Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar seat. BJP leader Kirit Somaiya labeled Malik a “terrorist” and criticized NCP’s decision to field him. Despite this, Malik remains confident of winning against Shiv Sena’s Suresh ‘Bullet’ Patil and Samajwadi Party’s Abu Azmi.

Malik dismissed concerns over opposition from BJP and Shiv Sena, expressing optimism about his electoral prospects.
