On Constitution Day, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav paid tribute to Babasaheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar at Ambedkar House in London. CM Yadav is on a six-day visit to the UK and Germany to boost investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh by meeting with industrialists and government representatives.
"I offer my humble tribute to Babasaheb Ambedkar and remember the incredible constitution given to us by him," said CM Yadav. He expressed his fortune in visiting Ambedkar's residence, where Ambedkar stayed for studies.
Yadav is in London to meet investors for the upcoming Global Investor Summit in Bhopal. He emphasized the importance of spreading awareness about the Constitution's values in Madhya Pradesh.
The Chief Minister's office shared greetings on Constitution Day, highlighting a campaign led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to educate people about the Constitution's articles. Various programs are being organized in Madhya Pradesh to celebrate the day.
President Droupadi Murmu's Commemorative Releases
In India, President Droupadi Murmu released a commemorative postage stamp and two books on the Constitution's 75th anniversary at Samvidhan Sadan. The books are titled "Making of the Constitution of India: A Glimpse" and "Making of the Constitution of India & its Glorious Journey." She also released Sanskrit and Maithili copies of the Constitution and recited the Preamble with other leaders.
The event marks the 75th anniversary of the Constitution's adoption by the Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949, which came into effect on January 26, 1950.
