Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Announces New Welfare Decisions
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav chaired a cabinet meeting at Mantralaya, where several important decisions were made for the welfare of the public and the state.
Compensation for Martyrs’ Families
CM Yadav announced that the Rs 1 crore compensation given to the families of martyrs will now be divided equally between the spouse and the parents to avoid family disputes.
Condemnation of the 1975 Emergency
Before the meeting, the Chief Minister and the council of ministers recalled and condemned the 21-month Emergency period that began on June 25, 1975.
Improving Jail Facilities
State cabinet minister Kailash Vijayvargiya shared that the government will introduce a bill to improve jail facilities and provide skill development for prisoners.
Soil Testing Expansion
The cabinet decided to expand soil testing to all 313 blocks in the state, allowing agriculture students and institutes to conduct tests in newly constructed buildings.
Tree Planting Initiatives
The limit for tree planting through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been reduced from 10 hectares to 1-2 hectares, enabling smaller donors to participate.
