Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav celebrated ‘Govardhan Puja’ at his residence in Bhopal, extending warm wishes to the state’s residents. He emphasized the cultural significance of festivals and the importance of cow worship in Indian tradition.

Celebrations and Cultural Significance

During the celebration, CM Yadav fed a cow at a Gaushala in Bhopal, highlighting the state’s efforts in cattle protection. He quoted the Vedas, stating, “Gaavo Vishvasya Matarah,” meaning the cow is the mother of the world.

Visits and Announcements

On November 1, CM Yadav visited the Tilkeshwar Gau-Seva Sadan and participated in the Govardhan Puja and Diwali Milan Samaroh. He announced plans for a new Gaushala in Ujjain with a capacity for 5,000 cows and the renovation of the Tilkeshwar Mahadev temple.

Infrastructure Developments

CM Yadav also shared plans for infrastructure improvements, including a bridge near the Chhatri of Veer Durgadas, a six-lane road from Mullapura to Chandu Khedi, and widening the road from Kalidas Udyan to Kaal Bhairav Temple to four lanes.
